A License To Sell

Born in North Vancouver and raised in Vancouver’s Point Grey area, I attended Queen Mary Elementary and then St. George’s, graduating in 1976. My father, R.W. Macdonald graduated the UBC Faculty of Law’s first class of 1950. He spearheaded the Discovery Street diversion from Fourth Avenue through Jericho Park and was also past president of UBC alumnae.

When I was 17, I was involved in harbouring and medically treating Jericho Youth Hostel guests who were pursued to my doorstep by a lone gunman involved in a shooting spree at the hostel. That same year I taught swimming to handicapped kids at Jericho School. I multitask well.

I graduated from BCIT in 1989 with my Associate Broker’s Marketing Real Estate License and in 2014 was recognized by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for 25 years of consistent service. Over the years I have acted as a Managing Broker, successfully coaching and training other real estate licensees in whole service client support.

My enthusiasm is fuelled by directly serving buyers and sellers of real estate in Vancouver and surrounding areas. My reward is the deep, longterm relationships that have developed. As a Vancouver native I have seen many changes to our city over the years and am proud to call it my home. Last but not least, I am an exceptionally proud father to my three sons, also born and raised in Vancouver.
